I know it's been forever and I feel sooooo ashamed. 

 

Why haven't I been blogging.  No real one reason.  Is it cause I don't like it anymore?  Not really.  I've still been posting on MySpace, but that is typically more BS than any kind of sensational, inspirational, celebrational, muppetational words of wisdom.  Lots more F-bombs, too.

 

I have been traveling a lot for work, lately.  This year, I have spent time in San Fransisco, San Jose, Boston, Austin, Washington DC and this Saturday, I depart for London (my first time ever out of North America.)  Traveling typically puts me a bit behind.  And, since I usually post during work hours, this has greatly limited my availability. 

 

Also, I am just not sure there has been a heckuva lotta news to inspire me to write.  While still maintaining my Republicanism, I am anxiously awaiting 2008 as I am rediculously tired of having Bush as my president.  But, I don't really have a lot to write about that cause everyone else has already written it.

 

My Navy buddy Matt Cole (of Spike the Underdog) has been mobilized.  Swear to God, I thought I was getting tapped.  Freaked me the hell out.  He got the nod instead of me.  Three days after he was tapped, his wife found out she was pregnant.  He seemed excited to go when the time came.  Better to miss the pregnancy than the first years of your kid's life.  I would have been pissed.  I don't understand why the military brass thinks it's okay to take a person with a career and a family away from their lives for a full year, probably more.  Reservists sign up to support.  If we wanted to be active duty, we would have joined active duty.  Sorry...a little bitterness coming out.  But, everyone, please pray for Matt.

 

To my dear Ms. Jones...Season 3 of Lost starts this Wednesday!!!!  I am going to miss it cause I'll be in London.  But, rest assured, once I watch it upon returning, I will have lots to say.  Episode 1 is a Jack flashback.  Supposedly, it's about Jack and his wife and Jack's suspicions that she is having an affair with his Dad.  Dun Dun Duuuuuuuuuh.
